These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Quit-It mobile app and website (together, the “Service”), provided by Fertile Crescent Technologies LLC, doing business as Quit-It (“Quit-It,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
1. Agreement to Terms
By downloading, accessing, or using Quit-It, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Our Services
Quit-It is a habit tracking and self-improvement app that helps you reduce or quit selected habits, track daily use, log feelings, appetite, and notes, calculate progress, and estimate money saved. Quit-It currently has no login and does not require you to create an account.
3. Not Medical Advice
Quit-It is not medical advice, therapy, diagnosis, treatment, addiction treatment, crisis support, or emergency support. Quit-It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, disorder, or condition.
You should contact a qualified professional for medical, mental health, substance use, or addiction-related help. If you are in danger or experiencing an emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately.
4. No Guarantee of Results
Quit-It provides tools and tracking features, but results vary from person to person. We do not guarantee that you will reduce or quit any habit, save money, or achieve any specific outcome.
5. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- The accuracy of the information you enter
- How you use the app
- Decisions you make related to your habits
- Seeking professional help when needed
- Following all applicable laws
6. Acceptable Use
You agree that you will not:
- Misuse the app
- Reverse engineer the app
- Interfere with the app's security
- Use the app unlawfully
- Submit harmful code
- Use automated scraping
- Impersonate others
- Use the app to encourage illegal or harmful behavior
7. Subscriptions and Purchases
Quit-It may offer Standard and Pro subscriptions. When enabled, subscription purchases are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play. You are responsible for managing cancellations through Apple or Google. Full details are described in our Subscription Terms.
8. Trials
Free trials automatically convert to paid subscriptions unless you cancel before the trial ends.
9. Cancellation
Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. You must cancel through your Apple App Store or Google Play subscription settings.
10. Intellectual Property
Fertile Crescent Technologies LLC owns Quit-It, including the app, the website, and all related content, branding, designs, and software. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our permission.
11. User Content
You may enter notes, habits, feelings, and related data into Quit-It. You are responsible for the content you enter. We process user-entered content only to provide and improve the Service, consistent with our Privacy Policy.
12. Service Availability
We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. The app may be unavailable from time to time due to maintenance, updates, or factors outside our control.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Fertile Crescent Technologies LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or savings, arising from or related to your use of the Service. To the extent any liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months before the claim.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Fertile Crescent Technologies LLC and its owners, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be subject to the courts located in Nevada, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
16. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of Quit-It after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
